About the Course

Hey there, I’m Jess!

I am the founder of Adonai El Roi ministries, and I have a heart for helping women of all ages understand their identity in Christ, to fulfill the Great Commission. I have been married to my husband, Jeff since 2010, and we are passionate about telling the world about Jesus! I am also an aunt to 2 nephews and 2 nieces. I love being Aunt Jess!

In 2006, I graduated from Southwestern Christian University with a degree in Non-Profit Organizational Leadership, and have been in ministry ever since! I studied counseling and discipleship and I am a licensed minister through the International Pentecostal Holiness Conference.

I volunteer with Youth for Christ, Hope Center Ministries, and with the youth group at my home church. I also serve as an administrative assistant for Vessel of Honor Ministry. The Lord has given me the opportunity to use my gifts of Administration, Faith, and Discerning of Spirits to minister to women in Costa Rica, Switzerland, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Canada, and in the United States. I can’t wait to see where He takes me next!

What we believe about people, God, and the Bible:
  1. We value scripture & believe that the Word of God is the primary source for wisdom, direction, correction, and nourishment (2 Timothy 3:16)
  2. We value the power of prayer (1 John 5:14)
  3. We believe in the Triune God and value Father, Son and Spirit (Matthew 28:19, 1 John 2:22-24, John 14:16-17; 26)
  4. We believe all scripture is God breathed and is still alive and relevant (2 Timothy 3:16)
  5. We believe God sent His one and only Son to each to die for each of us (John 3:16) and that he will return (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18, Titus 2:13, 2 Peter 1:3-4)
  6. We value relationship and believe they are important to disciple and build one another up (1 Corinthians 12:12, Proverbs 27:17)
  7. We believe the Holy Spirit empowers the body of Christ to fulfill the mission of God on the earth
  8. We believe in all of the gifts of the Spirit and that the all the gifts of the Spirit are active today
  9. We value Pentecost
  10. We believe marriage is between one man and one woman united together (Leviticus 20:13)
  11. We believe that Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is for every born-again believer (Acts 1:8, 2:1-4)
  12. We believe in signs and wonders
  13. We believe there are still miracles working today
  14. We believe in protecting the “flow” of the Holy Spirit. We will not hurry. We will not break the “flow” for unnecessary activities
  15. We believe in speaking the truth in love and will not sugar coat the word of God
